1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored by a server on your device (computer, phone, etc.) and associated with a web domain (that is, in most cases, with all the pages of the same website). This file is automatically sent back during subsequent contacts with the same domain. There are:
- “First-party” cookies that are placed by the site, more specifically on the site's domain. They may be used for the proper functioning of the site or to collect personal data in order to track your behavior and serve advertising purposes;
- Session cookies, which are automatically deleted when you close your browser;
- Persistent cookies, which remain stored until they expire or until you delete them: the lifetime of each one is given in the tables below.
- “Third-party” cookies, which are cookies placed on domains different from the main site's, generally managed by third parties queried by the visited site and not by you: these cookies may also be necessary for the proper functioning of the site but they mainly serve to allow third parties to see which pages you have visited on the site in question and to collect information about you, particularly for advertising purposes.
2. Which cookies do we use and for how long?
When you use the adrevia.com solution (hereinafter the “Solution”), we may place the following cookies:
- Strictly necessary cookies: These cookies enable basic features of the Solution such as user login and account management. The Solution cannot be used correctly without strictly necessary cookies. The placement of these cookies cannot be refused;
- Preference cookies: These cookies keep a choice you made yourself: the language of the interface, its theme (light or dark), its layout (side menu open or closed; a site preview folds it for as long as the preview lasts, then opens it again), for a brand administrator, the brand they administer, and the closing of the notice about the change of the Terms of Service. They only serve to display the Solution the way you asked; as such, they are exempt from consent and therefore cannot be refused in the cookie banner. You can, however, delete them at any time from your browser (see section 3);
- Analytics cookies: These cookies measure how the app is used so we can improve it (PostHog) and are shared with no advertising platform. They are only placed if you accept the “Analytics” category of the cookie banner: the placement of these cookies can therefore be refused.
- Advertising cookies: These cookies measure the effectiveness of our advertising (Meta, Google Ads) and link a sign-up to the ad or the demo that brought it; with your consent, they also let Meta and Google show you our ads in a personalised way (retargeting). They are only placed if you accept the “Advertising” category of the cookie banner: the placement of these cookies can therefore be refused.

3. How to manage cookies?
When using the Solution, you are informed of the use of cookies and have the option to express your choice by accepting, refusing or configuring cookies.
With the exception of cookies strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the Solution and of preference cookies, which are exempt from consent, your active consent will be required for the placement of cookies.
At any time, you can change or withdraw your choice with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of the site's pages and of the sign-in pages, or from your account settings (“Cookie preferences”). You can also clear the site's cookies and data from your browser: the cookie banner will then be shown to you again.
Disabling cookies may affect the smoothness and quality of browsing on the Solution.
